Μelivaro has been beautifully constructed using wooden beams, local natural stone and ecologically friendly paints. The stone was taken from the ground during excavations of the foundations and handcrafted to construct the thick walls.

The structure, using half timber frame and half stone, follows the very old traditional Lefkadian style and is a superb achievement. The house has wooden floors, beams and pillars, hidden alcoves and rooms, and a cellar that adds to its immense charm.

Ground floor

Main entrance into an open plan living/dining area with a working fireplace, and 3 sets of French windows that open onto terrace and lawns, and a separate door onto a patio. A well appointed kitchen with a big gas stove and all the cooking facilities: electric kettle, electric toaster, filter coffee maker, dishwasher, and a cellar with a washing machine, iron and ironing board.

A cloakroom with a WC and wash basin, α big bathroom with shower for the use of the guests who are accommodated on the ground-floor’s sofa-bed.

Free WIFI connection, DVD – CD players, satellite TV, safe, first aid kit, hair dryer, plus other little items that make your holiday comfortable.

First floor

2 double bedrooms ensuite both with showers and French windows, one onto a balcony and sea view, and the other onto the rear terrace.

2 single bedrooms becoming double (by means of a single bed pulled and set to the height of the first one) onto balcony and sea view, sharing a family bathroom with shower.
