Villa Corali
This villa is situated on two levels.
The main entrance to this property is on the first floor level.
Two double bedrooms can be accessed from the main hall.
Both bedrooms are en suite and they both open onto a pergola-shaded balcony, with outdoor seating and wonderful view over the Ionian Sea and the natural surroundings.
A marble staircase leads to the ground level floor.
A third bedroom and a family bathroom are situated on this floor.
A ground level living room overlooks the swimming pool and offers access to an outdoor shaded area with very comfortable seating.
Of equal interest is the living room fireplace, made of stone blocks carved by a master craftsman. The concealed lighting adds a soft and cozy feel to the room at night.
The living area connects to the dining room and kitchen with breakfast area.
The dining room opens onto the pool area and garden and to an outside dinning set of a wooden table, a built-in bench, a further bench and chairs.
Cancellation / Prepayment
Reservation policy: 30% deposit and full payment of the remainder 2 weeks prior the arrival. In case of cancellation less than two weeks before reservation, the deposit is non-refundable.

Kefalonia
The magnificent sights, amazing beaches, rich cultural heritage, great monuments, mountains, castles, remote monasteries and cheerful, hospitable people are the treasures making Kefalonia one of the most attractive destinations.
It is the biggest island of the Ionian Sea, at the outlet of Patraikos Bay, between Zante and Lefkada. It stretches over an area of 904 km2 with a coastline length of 250 km.
The island has a splendid natural beauty and a diversified geological structure with innumerable small bays and rich vegetation; the mountain Aenos (National Park since 1962 supporting rich flora and fauna) looks impressive from far away.
During the Byzantine period Kefalonia formed part of the province of Achaia and the prefecture of East Illyria. It was conquered by the Normans, the Franks, the Venetians and the Turks.
It joined the rest of Greece along with the other Ionian Islands, on May 21st, 1864. The inhabitants’ resistance against the Italians and the Germans during World War II was considerable.
The movie ‘’Captain Corelli’s Mandolin’’ shot in the natural scenery of the island refers to a history of the Resistance movement.
Sports & nature
Turquoise seas, lush green vegetation, wild and sheer mountain scenery and a fascinating variegated geological profile have given Kefalonia a special atmosphere and beauty. Broad sandy beaches, small coves, and steep cliffs, steppe-like plains, fertile valleys, dense black forests of fir, a unique complex of caves and the highest mountain in the Ionian Islands, Mount. Aenos, standing at 1628m, are the most striking features of the island. Kefalonia is characterized by the creative forces of nature and three thousand years of cultural history.
Culture and history info
Across the broader island, two large monasteries are to be found: the first is that of Haghia Panagia, in Markopoulo to the southeast, and the other lies on the road between Argostoli and Michata, on a small plain surrounded by mountains. This second has an avenue of about 200 trees aligned from NW to SE, with a circle in the middle, and is the monastery of Saint Gerasimus of Kefalonia, patron saint of the island, whose relics can be seen and venerated at the old church of the monastery. The monastery of "Sissia" was probably found by Francis of Assisi, it was destroyed 1953 but the ruins still exist.
Although the island was destroyed by some earthquakes, many notable churches all over the island have survived. Some dating back to the renaissance. The ornaments of the churches are influenced by Venetian manierism.
